Puente is a small, no-account practice tool for people who want to write Spanish—not just recognize a translation.
How Puente works
Each exercise starts with a short English passage. Write a Spanish version, ask for a hint if needed, then compare your answer with a natural example and a short teaching note. Exercises are grouped into three numbered levels so learners can begin with everyday sentences and move toward more connected or complex ideas.
Puente’s answer check compares your response with a set of reviewed example translations. It is not an AI judge and cannot recognize every valid Spanish sentence. An answer that does not match an example exactly may still be correct. The examples note regional alternatives where useful.
Why the practice is short
Short writing attempts are easier to fit into a regular routine. They also make it practical to notice one detail at a time: a verb ending, a preposition, or a phrase that sounds more natural in Spanish. The learning guides explain these ideas and link to sources when a claim draws on research.
What Puente does not promise
Puente is a practice aid, not a substitute for a teacher, conversation partner, or complete language course. It does not promise a particular fluency level or learning outcome. Spanish varies across regions, and many ideas can be expressed in more than one natural way.
